How long have you been in radio? Almost six lovely years ... Ahh, how time flies.
What was your first job ever? Wow, what a flashback. I started working at Marble Slab Ice Cream for about three months, and then was quickly asked to take a long vacation and never return. I then got a job at Joe's Crab Shack and did all the dancing and craziness that I'm used to. It's also where I started working on a microphone and decided to pursue radio.
Your favorite bands? The Used, The Exies, Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Gary Allan, AC/DC, The Killers, Modest Mouse, Audioslave, Ben Harper, Death Cab Cutie, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Outkast, Kanye West, Jimmy Buffett, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, Brad Paisley, Kevin Fowler, Chris Cagle, Blue October, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Alicia Keys, My Chemical Romance, Franz Ferdinand, George Strait, Ashlee Simpson ... wait a minute?!?!
If you were stuck on an island, and could only bring one CD with you, what would it be? I hate the cliché term "mix-tape," but I would have to bring a CD with a bunch of songs that either remind me of partying or not being stuck on an island.
How long have you lived in Houston? Fifteen years. Born and raised in Alabama where I lived for eight years, then headed to the great country known as Texas just in time!
Famous person you would like to meet? Without a question, it’s got to be Willie Nelson. That dude rocks, and I can only imagine he can party as well as he performs.

What are your hobbies? Anything in the sun, hanging with friends, going to concerts, road trips, making college last as long as ever, hitting the bars, being lazy, sleeping and anything involving music.
Are you a big sports fan? I am a huge sports fan. I love college football and baseball the most, and college football season takes up most of my Saturdays in the fall. My favorite teams would have to be TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns, Houston Astros, and the Houston Texans.
Typical Saturday night? Usually recovering from watching football all day, then taking a nap so I can go out and celebrate a win or mourn a loss.

Adopt a retired athlete
As you may or may not have heard, there was an adoption that took place in early December, and have no fears, I did not adopt a baby. I did, however, adopt a greyhound.
Looking back, it's probably one of the greatest things I have ever done. Cooper is fantastic. Hyper, calm, fast, lazy, loving, fast, fun...many other adjectives available, but not enough time.
GPA Houston is the organization where Cooper was adopted, and I suggest you check them out for any and all questions you may have. Great people, great cause. Do it.
